Hi, I’m Patty, the creative mind behind the Lovey You™ Baby Bumper. I am thrilled that you are here and interested in learning more about my story.

It was after the birth of my second baby that I recognized a gap in the baby lounger sector for safety and sustainability. Like most parents, I had no idea that baby loungers belong to an unregulated class of baby gear that are not held to any safety standards. Many popular retailers offer loungers that are too cushiony, constraining, filled with cloud-like polyester and finished with treated fabrics. The world is changing rapidly and these options are not suitable for parents who prioritize true safety and eco-consciousness over green washing and sneaky marketing.

The inspiration for my baby bumper comes from the NICU “baby nest”. Many babies in critical care are placed into a nest of two rolled up towels which help them feel supported and stable – just like in the womb.

Fast forward two years of thorough research, perfecting my design, testing, filing patents and another baby – Lovey You™ Baby was born (no pun intended!).  My multi-functional baby bumper has a unique design and shape that genuinely prioritizes babies safety and well-being when in use.

I have made it my mission to educate families about the safety concerns of conventional loungers and hope to become the premier choice for parents who desire a safe lounging experience for their children.
